(A) M + N
(B) M ×N
(C) 2M + N
(D) 2MN

Answer D.
Image size is mn pixels.
Binary image takes 1 bit  value(0/1).
I pixel can be adjusted in  two ways.(21) like(0,1)
2 pixel can be  adjusted in 4 ways.(22) like 00,01,10,11
3 pixel can be adjusted in 8 ways.(23)
