Q11,paper 3,j13.The golden ratio Phi and its conjugate phi’both satisfy the equation.



(A)x3-x-1=0
 (B) x3+ x– 1 = 0

(C) x2-x– 1 = 0

(D) x2+x– 1 = 0
Answer C
It deals with fibonacci series, where roots are given by x2-x– 1 = 0.
