Q19,Paper 3,J 13. An image is 1024∗800 pixels with 3 bytes/pixel. Assume the image is uncompressed. How long does it take to transmit it over a 10-Mbps Ethernet ?



(A) 196.6 seconds
(B) 19.66 seconds
(C) 1.966 seconds
(D) 0.1966 secon

Explanation  total bytes of image are.
1024*800*24 bits.
I MBPS=106 bits per second.
Time take for transfer= 103*8*102*24/106=192/10=19.2 s.

    yes answer is c
    taansmission time= length/BW

    = 1024*800*3*8/10*10^6

    = 2^16*3/10^5

    =1.9660 sec
